This is why I don't do anything productive nearly the entire month of October--I love decorating! My husband and I made a gingerbread haunted house for the fun of it. I think it turned out rather nice . . . err, scary, I mean. In a cute way. :)
Here's my husband trying to eat the house. Look at that innocent face.

Not too bad, if I do say so myself.

Here are some more Halloween decorations.

Last, but not least, here's our wedding cake. We've almost been married a year (on October 26th)! I loved this cake; a crazy-talented neighbor of mine modeled it after my favorite movie in the entire world: The Corpse Bride, that's why it's crooked and awesome. If you haven't seen the movie, you totally need to because it's much better than Nightmare Before Christmas, in my opinion.

Hello! Just popped over from Cake Wrecks at your invitation. The wedding cake is cute; your neighbor did a great job. Happy Anniversary!
Very lovely cake - am hoping for a Corpse Bride inspired cake for my wedding in November. Oh and you might like to look at my save-the-date on my blog (under 'inspiration board' post) More Tim Burton!
