Book Review:The Silver Chair

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I am an avid reader. I love getting lost in new books, and oftentimes my jewelry will be inspired by a new story. I thought it would be fun to write a book review, then feature the piece of jewelry that it inspired along with a coupon code! Please let me know what you think.

The Silver Chair (Chronicles of Narnia, #6)The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I've loved the Chronicles of Narnia ever since I was a little girl. The Silver Chair isn't my absolute favorite in the series for the simple fact that it's a little dark, but a great book all the same!

The Silver Chair continues the story of Narnia when Eustace Scrubb, along with his classmate Jill Pole, are whisked into Narnia to help find Prince Rilian (King Caspian's son who had been kidnapped years before). Their adventure leads them into the deep, dark Narnia, in the grip of the evil Queen of Underland, where they prove they're Narnians through and through in order to break the evil queen's enchantment.

Secret messages, action, adventure, new friendships, giants, marsh-wiggles, and of course loads of symbolism for the simple fact that it's C.S. Lewis. This book has it all! Definitely recommend this book, and the series for that matter. If you're going to read the series, I also recommend reading them in order.

Here is the necklace that was inspired by the book:

Craft Lake City

I'm so excited for this year's Craft Lake City! It's a local event held yearly at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City, UT. I've been so busy preparing for it I haven't had time to update my shop with new jewelry, but once it's all over I'll have PLENTY to post. Here's just a sneak peek of some of the new jewelry I'll be selling:

For those of you who are in the area, stop in at Craft Lake City on Saturday, August 13th, from 2-10 PM. The last two were AWESOME, you will not be disappointed!
